The monks thought their secret was safe. The Doors to Netherwhere is a Turn-Based Tactical Defense RPG where you lead the last stand against a merciless horde. You are the Captain of the Guard at a reclusive mountain temple, built long ago around a trio of mysterious portals. For centuries their existence has been carefully kept quiet by a sect of monks, yet somehow... The enemy is nigh, and your soldiers are few. The Ultimate Choice: With precious little time to prepare, who and what resources can you scrounge together? Will you risk opening the Doors to seek aid from the Netherwhere? Hold the Pass: The monastery is hardly a fortress. Position your units to guard access to the village. Face the Horde: Each enemy type demands a different strategy. Victory requires more than steel. Convince the Villagers: To join the fight. To prepare weapons or precious resources. To trust your leadership. Make the Most of Your Time: The clock is ticking. Some preparations are best done yourself. But others...? Organize Your Parties: If fate is on your side, you'll have enough support for three defense parties; one for each of the mountain passes leading into the monastery village. The monastery and its adjacent village hide ancient secrets. Learn them quickly!
