"The Amnesiac: Final Chapter" is a narrative text game. The story takes place in a low-magic world reminiscent of the Middle Ages. In the silent darkness of a decaying baron's castle, lights flicker and a table is filled with sumptuous food. However, the atmosphere is eerily quiet, devoid of the usual sounds of merriment one would expect at a banquet. Instead, there lies the lifeless body of the baron on the cold floor, surrounded by a group of individuals who have just awakened from a stupor, but have lost their memories. Even as traces fade into the night, unable to be extinguished completely beneath the twilight, the truth will inevitably greet the dawn. As for you, you will become a wisp of a soul, embodying any one of them, and delve into their respective stories and secrets. Multiple Character Role-Playing Players can assume the role of any of the 10 amnesiacs, exploring their past and identity. Each character has a unique story and secrets to uncover. In addition, different characters have different abilities, and the proper use of abilities will affect the development of the story.(The sentence includes Witcher, Alchemist, Magician, Knight, etc.) Story of Free Exploration: Unlike other narrative games, our game features the concept of free exploration. When the game reaches certain plot points, players will be given the opportunity for free exploration, with the duration determined by the characters and storyline (each character may have a different duration). The actions taken during this free exploration period may have an impact on the development of the storyline. Multiple Endings for Each Character The game offers multiple endings and branching paths, where player choices determine the direction of the storyline and influence the fates of other characters. Rich Story Clues and Items The game features a gripping storyline and tense atmosphere, with numerous subtle clues that need to be discovered and pondered upon. Use these clues to gradually unveil the connections between the forgotten individuals and the hidden truths within the castle.
