Dreamrealm's Tower of Despair is a first person RPG whose action happens inside a haunted tower where dungeon-crawler mechanics meet a light but disturbing horror ambience. The story revolves around a knight of light that embarks onto a quest to fight an evil vampire that deceives his followers into blood rituals and sacrifices for his own gain. Throughout the tower, you'll have to gather more and more clues and lore pieces to build evidence against this hellish envoy. Moreso, important heirlooms of your creed will be found at some point to give you advantage against Malgrym's acolytes, and even against himself. At times, you'll get hints about what's happening from the victims themselves, even more their riddles or level puzzles will take you further in progression. Using your Journal and the ability to search for hidden clues will be your utmost aid throughout this tower. The light horror ambience is combined with combat scenes to immerse you in this parallel world from within the Dreamrealm Universe where the Light takes its toll against the corrupted nightmares affecting the veil of sleep.

Deep within elder forests of Walomir, an old abbey has been corrupted by forces of evil. Time flew by and folklore around this place came to remind it as being abandoned for years, yet it is more alive than one could think. Along a mountain peak, hidden in the depths of a fir thicket no one would've ever guessed what's to be found there. Even though there were plenty of reports about missing people from villages all around those parts, the Court did not take any action, until one day when higher powers intervened and you've been chosen to investigate this place. Being one of the last templars that stood firm to their cause, you had to accept venturing in what was probably going to bring you death or eternity. Enter the Tower of Despair and unravel it's mysteries, put clues head to head and find out the truth about Malgrym and his schemes. Fight your way through his unholy library and unravel what's happening inbetween those walls.
