Inside the ruined tavern, only broken chairs and dust remain... Two kingdoms both claim this land, and the winds of war are blowing toward the town. A letter from the village elder arrives: your grandfather’s tavern has been seized. You decide to return. 《A Kingdom of Soil》 is a pixel-art medieval RPG and management adventure. You play as a returning heir, rebuilding your family’s legacy amidst turmoil, uncovering buried secrets, and forging your own legend. As the main story unfolds, you will uncover the mysteries of the tavern and the town, while freely choosing your own way of life. Everyday Life Plow the soil, sow and harvest, fish and hunt… The land is not only your means of survival, but the very foundation of your rise. Craft and Influence Forge weapons, cook meals, brew ale, craft works of art—every skill can earn you wealth or favors. Deal with all kinds of people using negotiation, intimidation, deception, or charm. Your reputation can open doors—or create enemies. Bonds and Companionship Though morals decay and society crumbles, you may still form true bonds with the townsfolk, build a family, and even grow old together. During festivals, the tavern fills with light. Even with war looming, people will still raise their cups and celebrate. Want to thrive in the medieval world? Sneak, steal, and assassinate—plan daring heists in the dark with your companions. One successful strike may make you rich, but it may also turn everyone’s eyes against you. Will you become a righteous outlaw, or a ruthless brigand? The choice is yours. Rebuild Your Tavern “Friend! Have another drink!” Stoke the fire, repair rooms, refresh the menu, hear new stories, take on quests, and hire help. As the tavern reopens, many will stop by—some bringing wealth and songs, others bringing plots and danger. Power and Intrigue Amidst the clinking of cups, nobles and politicians will arrive at your tavern. Some truly strive for peace, seeking to prevent war and improve lives. Others are deceitful and greedy, ignoring suffering while clinging to the old order. At the table, will you listen and assist, subtly shaping events? Or remain silent, seeking only to endure these troubled times? The Final Choice When you finally recover your grandfather’s recipe, the Legendary Brew returns to the world .
