Vribyss Refuge Metamorphosis is a fantasy walking simulator that explores the theme of refugees fleeing persecution. Since 2014, the game's creator has traveled to East Africa and various parts of Asia, visiting refugee camps and villages, and listening to the stories of refugees. The experiences of these refugees inspire the stories shared by the NPCs in the game. In his pursuit, he encounters displaced people who reveal more about his mysterious past. On his journey, Andel comes to realize that Aphass Kexxir is operating with a supernatural force greater than anything he'd experienced before. Andel begins to seek solutions in the unseen world as he notices his natural skills and combat strategies aren't enough.
