The offline version of Egglia: Legend of the Redcap released when the original version of the game was taken offline along with the launch of the sequel in Japan. "Follow the story of a gentle elf named Chabo, who mysteriously falls from the sky and arrives on the continent of Egglia. Uncover the mystery of Chabo and Egglia as you explore and uncover new areas of the world sealed away within eggs, and develop the world of Egglia through building houses, summoning spirits, warding off monsters and forming alliances with other races."

"Long ago, there was a kingdom known as Egglia. Many races lived in harmony in that miraculous land. But those happy days came to a sudden conclusion. The kingdom was assaulted by ogres, enormous in size. With neither reason or objective, they came on with the force of a natural disaster. The people of egglia were powerless to resist. With one exceptionL the battle-loving race of demons, the Redcaps... The war grew ever more violent, and the destruction reached almost to the capital. To save the world the kingdom's wizard, Kuff, chose to seal the land into myriad eggs. Land after land he sealed, and each sank into slumber within its hard shell. And each dreamed of the day when it might be awakened How much time has passed since then? On a small island, the only remaining land in the world, and elf cradles a precious egg. One day, a demon boy falls into her realm. A girl born to save the world and a red-hatted boy once born for bloodshed. Their meeting pulls aside the curtains of a new legend."
