BlueBirdRP is a multiplayer role-playing experience built for Grand Theft Auto V using the FiveM framework. Set in a fictionalised version of Melbourne, Australia, it focuses on long-term character stories, community-driven roleplay and a persistent online world. Players can take on civilian, emergency services or criminal roles, including careers such as police, ambulance, fire and transport, or running player-owned businesses like cafés, mechanics, nightclubs and retail stores. A custom economy, progression systems and server-wide events support both everyday life roleplay and larger story arcs. BlueBirdRP requires a PC copy of Grand Theft Auto V and the FiveM client to play. It is an online-only experience hosted on community-run dedicated servers and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.

BlueBirdRP is built on one simple idea: the city only comes alive when your story does. Every citizen is a main character, and every decision they make can ripple out into something much bigger, stranger, or more dangerous than it first appears. The setting is a living, breathing city that never really sleeps. On the surface it is all bright lights, busy streets, hard workers and everyday drama. Underneath it is a web of favours, secrets and deals that never quite make it into the paperwork. Cops, criminals, business owners, misfits and dreamers all move through the same streets, but they are not living in the same world. At the centre of it all are the stories that players create. Your character can start as a nobody, a new arrival at the airport with a suitcase and a half broken phone, or as someone already tied into the city through a job, a family, a gang or a debt they cannot ignore. What happens next is up to you. You can build a business, join an organisation, chase justice, cause chaos, or quietly carve out a life in the gaps between everyone else’s mess. Relationships matter. Reputation matters. Consequences matter. The city pays attention, even when you think it does not. Over time, the city has been shaped by key figures that people still talk about in hushed tones. Some are part of the present. Some now belong to the history of BlueBirdRP. - Cypher used to be the ghost in the system. They were the one sending out strange messages, offering jobs and tasks to anyone with the nerve to accept. Sometimes they pushed people toward easy money, sometimes toward moral choices that were anything but easy. Cypher is gone now, but the impact of their actions still lingers in stories, in old contacts, and in the way some characters learned to move through the shadows. - The Smith Sisters are the quiet engine of the criminal underworld. If a crew needs materials, tools, or something that “fell off the back of a truck”, the Sisters are the ones who can make it appear, for a price. They do not care who you are, only whether you pay on time and keep your mouth shut. Working with them can build an empire, or it can put a permanent target on your back. - Irish is a rumour with a face. Some say he is dead. Some say he vanished. Some swear they saw him last week in a bar, or in the shadows at a crime scene, or standing at the edge of a protest, just watching. The truth is that Irish is never as far away as people think he is. He appears when it makes sense for him to appear, when a story has reached a point where someone like him can twist it, rescue it or ruin it. You do not go looking for Irish. If he needs to be part of your story, he will find you. All of this sits beneath the main point of BlueBirdRP. The server is not about a single fixed storyline that everyone follows. It is about a shared world where thousands of personal storylines collide, overlap and evolve. The lore of BlueBirdRP is everything the community builds together. The city changes because of what you do in it. The Smith Sisters, Irish, and figures from the past like Cypher are just a few of the threads in that larger tapestry. The rest is yours to write.
