About the Game
Peasant Uprise is primarily a Role Playing Game that makes use of strategy and management mechanics. Unlike typical RPGs, in Peasant Uprise, the player can control a group of up to 30 unique characters at a time in a story where the focus lies on the peasants’ ability to cope with adversity. There is resource collection as well as facility building and even tool crafting. However, the focus is still on character progression, combat and the story. Most importantly, peasants are not your usual overpowered heroes and will depend on numbers and unusual tactics to overcome properly trained and equipped soldiers.
Manage Your Rebellion
Peasant Uprise is a harsh game that showcases the realities of a medieval uprise. The player will need to provide food and some commodities to keep the rebellion alive and will have to manage each peasant's morale to keep them fighting for the cause.

Unique Characters
The aim is for each peasant to be unique, with a setup of needs, skills, and traits. Some even have special professions that will greatly help your cause! How you choose to develop your peasants is up to you, but keep in mind that some peasants WILL fall in battle against trained and equipped soldiers, that's the cruel reality of a peasant uprise.

Non-linear Map
Travel through the Province of Swayne in any way you want. You can choose the shortest road to Swayne but your rebellion may be ill prepared once the destination is reached. Longer routes are also available which may yield more peasants and resources. However, time is a very important factor in Peasant Uprise as with the passing of time, enemy forces will receive reinforcements and further training that will increase their level and skills, in such a way that lingering for too long will present a bigger challenge to face.

Storyline IGDB
The Wine Dispute No conflict in the entire kingdom was more absurd than the rivalry developed between the Ashly and Swayne noble families. Both families had for generations claimed to produce the best wine in the kingdom. It's unclear if common folk around the kingdom actually cared who deserved such an unimportant recognition, but for Lord Frederick Ashlyn and Lord Eldan Swayne this was a dispute about honor. At Arms Words turned to shouts and soon sabotage followed. It was to no surprise that a local war broke between the two provinces. King Frey had no time for petty disputes and he allowed the two lords to resolve their differences once and for all. Lord Eldan Swayne, overpowered by the guards of lord Frederick Ashlyn had nowhere to turn but exile. In accordance to the law, this meant that Swayne Province had just become a land owned by Lord Frederick Ashlyn. Peasant Uprise On the far south end of Swayne lay ground to Donnington; a small farmer's village loyal to Lord Eldan. In fear of what was to come from Lord Frederick rule, the inhabitants of Donnington gathered to listen to a commissary sent by Frederick. If news were not favorable, how would they master the bravery and foolishness to rebel against a noble lord? How would the good King Frey view this act of treason? How would the nearby folk feel about this journey? Would they join the cause or result to mockery at the craziness of this march? And so our story begins as news of the arrival of Ashlyn commissary reach this remote village...
