How far are you willing to go for game seven of the World Series? New York is one strike away from a championship when the rookie closer gives up a towering home run to end game six. Defeated and humiliated, the closer must go on a night-long journey to remake himself as a pitcher before game seven. Along his journey, he will team up with his reliable pitching coach Moose, Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Zizek, and others as he learns new pitches and explores new and bizarre worlds.
