Take on an epic adventure of cosmic proportions in Out of Orbit . Design, build, and manage your very own spacecraft. Raid, destroy, infiltrate, or steal enemy spaceships. Befriend or jeopardize factions. Build bases on planets to expand your influence and resources. Collect raw ores. Travel through wormholes to unlock new randomly generated universes. The sky is the limit. Literally. Player Freedom - Infinite, randomly generated universes to explore. Anytime. - Every spaceship can be boarded and is destructible. - Create your own adventure, but your actions do have consequences. Spaceships - You can create your own spaceship. - Defend your own spaceship from hostile attacks. - Attack, infiltrate or pirate other spaceships. Planets - You can land on any planet. - Different planet types. - Build or take over colonies. - Construct farms. - Construct drill rigs to mine for valuable special ores. Travel - Explore a multitude of different cosmic locations. - Travel through a wormhole to unlock new universes. - Each location has its own set of characteristics. Collect resources - Mine asteroids. - A large collection of raw ores and materials to be collected. - Each ore has its own use and characteristics. Science - Earn science points by doing experiments. - Unlock new items and objects. Customizable character - Male, Female. - Skin color. - Hair, Beards and other customizables. Factions - Two human factions, M38 and Sundogs. - A alien faction called Naala. - A mechanical faction called Robotek.. - Build or break relationships with them. Crafting - Build machinery, engines, defense and stations. Survival - Eat and drink. - Keep an eye on your oxygen and fuel levels. - Keep your health high and your radiation levels low. Weapons - Level up and upgrade a variety of pistols and rifles. - Use gadgets to knock out, stun, blind or kill your opponents. Trading - Buy or sell items with friendly NPCs. - Each item has its own value. In-game editor - Create and build your own custom missions and spaceships. Steam Workshop - Share your own and play other players missions. We plan to keep growing, expanding, and improving Out of Orbit with the support of the community.
