With the upcoming merger approaching, play as one of four animal company leaders looking to dominate the competition through an intense game of golf. But for stakes so high, they've agreed to mix things up a little. And thus, the hunt is on! Fire in the Hole is a top-down twin-stick shooter featuring four animals all duking it out on the golf course. It is a local PVP and controllers are recommended (although one player can use Mouse and Keyboard) and the game is intended for 2-4 players . Shoot down competition to prevent them from scoring their golf balls into holes! The player with the highest score wins the match! But we didn't leave out rewards for the losers. Every player, even losers, can earn themselves accolades; from getting the most golf ball KOs to missing the most golf ball holes, there's bound to be something for everyone on the course. While Fire in the Hole can be played with one player on a mouse and keyboard, we fully recommend players to use a controller in order to best experience the game! The game teaches the player how to play before entering combat, but we've provided a manual as well that outlines both controller and keyboard controls, as well as potential upgrades and dangers you may encounter on the golf course. Fire in the Hole offers : 5 Unique Gun-Clubs! 5 Different Golf Balls! 4 Specialized Power-Ups! And 4 Arenas each with their Own Hazards! We don't teach you everything though. Experimental players might be rewarded with a fun discovery! This game is being developed for our 2025 Capstone Project in the Honours Bachelor of Game Design Program at Sheridan College, Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Fire in the Hole was made by 6 game designers and 1 composer over 28 weeks of development! Light the Way! Young Thyme has fallen into a hole in the ground, finding themselves surrounded by darkness in a strange dungeon. A mysterious entity allows them to borrow a magical lantern filled with fireflies to help them navigate the dark halls, and defend against the angry spirits. Can Thyme make it out of the dungeon alive? At what cost?
