City of Elves is a real-time strategy game in which you take a role of a ruler of an elven empire. This magical fantasy world is full of threats such as insects, famine, hostile factions, and many more. Your job is to build a fortress inside a tree and control the territory around it. To accomplish this task you will pick one of many character classes responsible for production, technological development, and combat. In addition, you will have to make political choices that will shape the diplomatic relations between your empire and other tribes.
Build Your Empire
Gather resources and use them to build new areas within your tree fortress. Construct storage rooms where you can store resources, food, weapons, and trade goods. Build a forge, bakery, armory, tax collector, wizard tower, torture chambers, and many more awesome buildings!
Develop new weapons
Order the production of weapons at the forge and discover new weapons that will be useful to your elves in combat. Collect magic crystals that will allow you to upgrade your weapons to increase the effectiveness of your attacks. Remember that wizards can only be defeated with magical weapons!
Defend Your Kingdom
Defend your woodland realm against invaders and the forces of nature! Your elven troops will fight deadly skirmishes on the outskirts of the forest warding off invasions. Play-out turn-based battles and make difficult tactical decisions that will help your soldiers survive the coming battles. Build armies made of different units (archers, knights, axemen, and many more), so as to be fully prepared for whatever the opponents have to offer.
Develop new traps.
In shamanic laboratories, design new traps and defenses that will help you defend the forest fortress. Get design plans to unlock new deadly mechanics. Test them on insects before you start production.
Trade and make friends.
Explore towns and villages. Meet traders and elven robbers. Listen to the local rumors to keep you away from making wrong decisions. Trade resources and exclusive products produced in your fortresses. Get ruch!
Conquer the Lands
Explore the magical and harash world of elven fantasy! Send expeditions to previously uncharted territory such as ruins, swamps, forests, mountains and islands. Explore elven water fortresses and engage in dialogue with other Elven fractions. Conquer the territory, gain power and prestige that will help you collect taxes for the production of weapons, and inventions, so you can conquer higher forest fortresses.
Discover new spells
Get to know new protection and battle spells. Learn about alchemy and design your own magic books. Join the necromancer guild to unlock the ability to summon spooky creatures to help you fight with the invaders. But beware, dark magic may turn against you!
Customize your Elves
Create a unique character for your elf. Collect interesting artifacts and prestigious outfits that arouse respect and they will help you in trade and political negotiations. Arouse fear among your opponents.
Play scenarios
Play realtime scenarios in which, you are using the unique characteristics of your elf, you will play tactical battles with the leaders of other fractions, fight and rob bad merchants or meet elven women who will sit at your side on the royal throne.
