Rogues Don't Cry is a mix of strategy and roguelike. Pick a hero, hire units, face a harsh procedurally generated world with dangerous monsters, upgrade your town, manage a powerful army. It's tough and different from other games. Maybe you like to have a few elite units, or maybe you want to swarm your enemies with hundreds of annoying critters. Or you want to build strong town defense and lure enemies into their death. You're free to experiment for the good and the bad without hand holding. Build your army: choose from many different units with over 150 abilities and traits, from alcoholism to nerd to ejecting a bunch of worms on death Every unit has its own experience, skills and equipment: equip your units with powerful items and turn a rookie into a master over time Over 100 different units, 200 items as well as many objects to explore and secret events Fast paced real time battles with total control of your units and automation when needed Unlock heroes, starting units and buildings, but it's possible to win the game without any unlocks Simple town building without annoying requirements: find blueprints and upgrade your town with shops, camps or walls/towers.
