UNRAVEL GLIMMERVALES SECRETS As the lynx adventurer Willow, on the hunt for gold, honor and glory, you’ll enter the wild and lawless land of Glimmervale. While navigating your way around this war-scarred land, meet cute, yet fierce, characters and unravel Glimmervales secrets through their stories. Willow might even grow from their experiences… SLASH YOUR WAY FORWARD But the treacherous biomes will pose many threats, so be vigilant! Slash your way through hordes of bandits and other enemies, and eliminate their camps along the way. However, your interference will not go unnoticed… Throughout your journey your skill will be put to the test by challenging bosses. What will wait for you at the end of this daring journey? GAME FEATURES Explore a top-down 2D pixel art world. Slash, throw, roll and replenish your health in difficult but rewarding souls-like combat. Meet a large cast of charming and unique animal characters, each brought to life through frame-by-frame 2D animation, expressive portraits, and enlightening (and sometimes comedic) dialogue. Offer help to the friendly inhabitants of Glimmervale. Listen to their stories, complete quests and earn their trust. Fight a large variety of enemies and adjust to their new and scaling attacks as you progress. Take on 3 epic and uniquely challenging bosses! Keep track of all your items, location and quests in a helpful inventory. Listen to a large variety of tracks specially tailored to the different bosses and areas of the game. Ambient sound effects sprinkled across the world are paired wonderfully with the calming nature scenery of Glimmervale. Multiple beautiful biomes to explore, each decorated with unique individually placed environmental assets and other graphics that bring the world to life! MADE WITH LOVE In Glimmervales wonderful scenery you’ll discover creatures, areas and much more, largely inspired by Norwegian culture, nature and wildlife. Each new area, friend and foe is developed and animated by hand in a cozy 2D pixel art style. Take in the scenery accompanied by an original soundtrack created by Mads Elias Vold and Sandra Theien Kivijervi. This game was created over the course of nine months by a team of six students working together in a loft in Norway; Corebreak Interactive.
