Uprising: Kingdom Come, is a hardcore survival strategy game where you lead a group of escaped slaves from bondage to freedom and ultimately fighting back against the oppressors. Begin your journey with a daring escape, guiding your group through the treacherous countryside. Evade capture from militias, former captors, and bounty hunters as you strive to survive and grow your rebellion. Hunt, gather, and stealthily acquire supplies, weapons, food, and medicine to keep your ever-growing group alive and well. As your strength increases, seize towns, plantations, farms, and resources, recruit more followers, and ultimately challenge the might of the nation! Starting Out You begin with a small group of escapees, each with their own unique abilities and quirks, but no weapons or supplies. Your initial goal is to survive in the wild, finding food, shelter, and basic necessities while evading capture. Survival • Hunt and Gather: Hunt game in the countryside of 1800s Virginia, gather berries for food and medicine, and fish in beautiful rivers and lakes to feed your group. • Farming and Raising Livestock: Take pigs, chickens, cows, horses, and other livestock animals and bring them to your base to raise and use to your benefit. Also plant and grow medicinal plants or food to feed your army. • Stealth: Steal supplies, weapons, food, and medicine from towns, farms, and plantations. Assassinate important figures in the region and unsuspecting foes to lower the control and the military’s ability to fight back. Upgrade characters to utilize better and more effective stealth abilities • Unforgiving Landscape: Stay vigilant against predators like bears and wolves. Gather and find medicine to keep plagues and diseases from spreading rampant through your ranks. Build shelters in the countryside to stay warm when temperatures dip. Character Management Every member of your group has unique skills, such as: • Medics: Heal the injured and sick and periodically provide medicine. • Foragers: Efficiently gather food and resources from places other struggle to gather from. • Brutes: Fight with exceptional strength easily overpowering guards and defenses. • Stealth Experts: Perform covert operations and ambush enemies while performing assassinations. And more! As you progress, you can upgrade these characters, enhancing their abilities and equipping them with better gear. Building Your Base Set up a secure campsite away from anyone who seeks to end the uprising. At your base, you can: • Distribute/ration food: Prepare food for your group and give out rations to improve morale and hunger. • Rest and relaxation: Building shelter and other items and buildings in your base can help improve morale and hope for your group. • Craft and Upgrade: Create weapons using supplies found such as pistols, shotguns, snipers, rifles, muskets, and even cannons and gatling guns, and other essential items. • Build Structures: Erect medical tents, housing, and other facilities to support your growing army and defense your base if discovered. Expanding Your Group Free other people from bondage and recruit them into your cause. As your group grows, micromanage each aspect of their lives or allow the game’s AI to handle it. Over time, your small band of escapees can swell into a formidable army of thousands. But be careful. The larger the group the harder the enemies are, and the easier it is to discover and have your base besieged by government forces. Exploring the World Explore a large, open-world map of southern Virginia in a long campaign and a few short campaigns at different difficulty levels.
