Coromon: Rogue Planet combines the rich strategy of tactical turn-based combat from Coromon with strategic rogue-like gameplay to create an endlessly-replayable monster taming gameplay experience.
Explore a variety of over 15 ever-changing biomes! Make tactical decisions on which paths to take as you navigate across the planet of Velua, weighing risk and reward. Each biome contains its own story, new and interesting challenges, as well as its own biosphere of Coromon. Procedurally-generated maps, encounters, and rewards ensure that every run progresses the story while feeling fresh and new.
Unlock 6 different playable characters, each with their own starter, story, and playstyle! As you navigate your way through the diverse wilderness of the Farlands, you’ll find other trainers in need of your help. Join forces with them to permanently unlock them as a playable character, mastering each character’s unique playstyle and mechanics as you battle alongside a team of Coromon. As you complete milestone goals, you’ll discover their stories and gain new bonuses for every successive run!
Choose one of 7 brand-new starter Coromon, then battle, catch, and tame over 130 monsters! Each Coromon has a unique set of both Primary and Secondary type affinities, plus personality traits and skills. Work together with your team of Coromon to improve their abilities, tailor their moveset, and grow their power—then, battle against wild Coromon, trainers, hordes, bosses, and more!
After the events of the first Coromon game, a strange alien space ship has crashed somewhere in the Farlands. Your job as an intrepid Battle Explorer working for Lux Solis is to track down the ship and discover the strange origins of the Crimsonite plague threatening the planet! On your travels, you’ll encounter creatures infected by Crimsonite: a dangerous, volatile substance, spreading and infecting anything it touches—including your Coromon! You’ll need to keep your team safe as you explore the wilderness and learn the truth about Crimsonite’s otherworldly origins.
Use a variety of gadgets to customize your capabilities! A meta-progression system allows you to consistently improve your skills and abilities, becoming increasingly powerful over time. Allocate and use accrued resources to improve the Outpost, unlocking new skills and abilities for each playable character. You’ll need a combination of luck and skill to survive the Farlands!
Collect resources to further Lux Solis’ journey to the stars! On your travels, you’ll gather debris from broken remnants of the alien space ship. Each time you bring back new information and resources from these encounters, not only will Lux Solis reward you with additional funding, but you’ll be working together with every other player to progress a global narrative and unlock the secrets of the galaxy!
