You applied for a job at MageMart and were hired on the spot! The store is closing in 30 minutes and there are a bunch of customers who need your help! Earn 5-star reviews and receive the praise and adoration of management… or insult everyone you meet to get 1-star rants as you throw the store into chaos and flames. What kind of Retail Mage are you? A Quick Note from the Developers: We're super excited to share one of the first games to use Gen AI not as part of generating any of our assets (awesome artists hand placed every block of cheese and every human skull inside MageMart), but in powering our game engine to allow players to do almost anything they can imagine! If you're looking to get creative and goofy with some friends in pushing the boundaries of what you can do and what you can get the game to allow, Retail Mage should be right up your alley. We're really excited to make a game where you and your friends can try just about anything, and have had a lot of fun watching players turn MageMart into an Iron Chef Cookoff, a would-be dating sim, and more! That said, if you're thinking of buying RETAIL MAGE, do keep in mind that we are a very passionate but small team, and that this is not a blockbuster experience with hours and hours of content. But we're very excited to offer you a one of a kind game that lets you create your own objectives and goals, with some hidden bits of lore and mystery to discover as well! Befriend an absent-minded mannequin with hidden talents. Work together (or troll each other) as you discover the secrets of the store. Everyone knows that minimum wage magical retail labor is more fun with friends! Say what you want to say (literally, with voice to text) and choose from dialog options generated on the spot. Get creative with how you interact with everything in the store. Rip a page out of a book you find. Search a haystack for a needle. Draw a picture of a giraffe on the back of a priceless painting. At MageMart, if you can imagine it, you can try to do it*! (*Critical failures for outlandish actions may result in demoralization, injury, or spontaneous combustion.) Strengths and Skills: what unique strengths and special skills makes you an invaluable member of the MageMart family? Personalized Backstory : your answers to 3 short interview questions creates your character’s unique backstory. Dynamic Dialog: say what you want to say (literally, with voice to text) and choose from dialog options that reflect your intent. Creative Interactions: get inventive, playful, and silly with what you do with the various objects in MageMart! The game will (magically) tell you whether you're successful or not!
