In this roguelike bullet-heaven, Earth has been consumed by an ancient eldritch god. Form a customizable squad of survivors and explore decaying, metroidvania-inspired worlds trapped within the god’s belly. Battle endless waves of nightmarish creatures, extract resources, rescue survivors, uncover forbidden knowledge, and search for a way out.
Portals powered by ancient eldritch forces link worlds and realities, forming a tangled web. With a limited oxygen supply, your squad has just 20 minutes to navigate the portal network, jumping from world to world in search of the one escape route. Can you escape the void in time?
A small band of survivors has established a settlement on one of the last remnants of Earth, floating in the void. Choose three from a large roster to form your squad. Each survivor wields a unique main weapon with upgrade trees and specific stat bonuses. Promote one to lead the squad to gain access to their special ability for that expedition.
Not all survivors are brave enough to adventure out and will support you in other ways. They will upgrade equipment, enhance physical abilities, and offer tasks. Rescue new survivors on expeditions to expand the settlement and unlock more powerful upgrades. But remember, plans rarely survive first contact with an eldritch god. Be ready to adapt!
Each world is ruled by a great old one, whose influence warps the land. Explore these worlds to find NPCs, exotic loot, puzzles, and hidden areas. But beware—the denizens won’t welcome you. Survive waves of increasingly twisted creatures, and collect the otherworldly “Morphite” they drop to upgrade equipment and temporarily grow stronger. Find artifacts and lost equipment to gear out your squad, augmenting your strategy as you progress deeper.
If you're overwhelmed, escape through the nearest portal to return home with your loot. However, if you die on an expedition, your loot is dropped where you fall. You'll have to return on the next run to retrieve it—or it will be lost forever.
