In 2022, in the fictional realm of Nantang Village in the NanTu District, a fire broke out at the sales center of a residential project called The Inner Paradise, This tragic incident leads to the mysterious death of a female sales agent, and the true culprit aims to pin the crime on Kalin Liu, a female agent who happened to be at the scene. From the moment she stepped into the sales center, her reality began to crumble. A desperate real estate agent at her wit's end Once awarded Best Salesperson, real estate agent Kalin Liu sees the Inner Paradise project as her shot at redemption in this treacherous market. However, the halt in construction has shaken her confidence. On the night of a shocking arson incident, she receives a mysterious call. The sales agent she was supposed to meet, Sindy Li, has been found dead at the construction site. She begins to realize that her every move seems to be under surveillance. How much deeper will this nightmare drag her into darkness? She doesn't know, but if she hopes to survive, she'll need more than just her wits. A self-built apartment that’s always under renovation Within the planned development area of the new residential complex in Nantang Village, there are still some disputed and ambiguous plots. A few villagers show no signs of relocating. Building No. 9, located at the end of the street, is a five-story self-built structure where rooms are being rented out as self-contained apartments, and the sounds of ongoing renovations can occasionally be heard from within.
