After a mysterious 'trust fall' into seemingly familiar world, you will explore and uncover the inner landscape of Cherry's heart, going deeper and deeper into the core as the game progresses. You will confront deeply relatable, yet silly and goofy personified inner parts of Cherry, and see how your choices affect Cherry's inner world.
There are no monsters or demons to defeat in Cherry's inner world, only inner parts of Cherry that have become lost and forgotten due to neglect or suppression.

EMOTIONAL ALCHEMY BATTLE SYSTEM
Trustfall has a unique and experimental twist on the traditional turn-based battle system, inspired by real-life inner healing transformation, called Turn-Based Introspection. Every mechanic, from the 'Heart Status' system to the alchemical transmutation of emotions, is designed thoughtfully with heart and soul to create a gameplay loop that mirrors a genuine process of inner healing and self-compassion.
Trustfall's battlefield is a symbolic representation of the inner heart space within us, that transforms with your every choice. Instead of winning or maxing your stats, the goal shifts toward understanding and integrating.
Every battle is designed to result in 3 outcomes:
Choose LOVE: Offer empathy, understanding, and acceptance. Use skills like EMPATHIZE and FORGIVE to soothe pain and integrate these parts back to whole.
Choose FEAR: React with RESISTANCE, SUPPRESSION, or JUDGMENT. While seemingly the faster and easier path, you may come to realize that what you resist persists, and there is no true winning in a fight against yourself...
Choose ALCHEMY: Observe without judgment, LISTEN, INQUIRE, and seek the TRUTH. By choosing the appropriate alchemy trigger skill and telling the inner part exactly what they need to hear, you can transmute negative emotional energy, like ANGER into EMPOWERMENT, or SHAME into HOME, becoming an alchemist of your inner world.

Based on what you choose in Cherry's inner world, the world around you will reflect the energy of your choice. Just like in the battle system, there are 3 main endings designed, with sub-endings.
