The player finds himself in an abandoned Soviet bunker, built at the height of the Cold War. The protagonist is a stalker, a hunter for artifacts and secrets of the past. He entered the bunker, attracted by legends of secret experiments and the mysterious disappearance of all personnel. Moving through the bunker, the player is immersed in an atmosphere of tense anticipation and fear. He finds notes, diaries, documents - fragments of stories of people who lived and worked here. The notes point to strange experiments being conducted in the lab and a growing paranoia among the staff. In the library, the player discovers ciphers indicating the bunker's connection to the mysterious Project Phoenix. In the church - traces of rituals and attempts to contact otherworldly forces. As the player explores the bunker, he encounters paranormal phenomena. He hears whispers, sees shadows, feels the presence of something otherworldly. In the laboratory, the player finds traces of dangerous experiments that have gotten out of control. In the tunnels - encounters the ghosts of soldiers guarding the bunker. The player will have to solve the mystery of Project Phoenix, find out what happened to the bunker staff and find a way to get out of this cursed place. The world is changing… The orcish clans, mankind’s ancient enemy, have begun migrating from the mountains and their raids upon human settlements become more brazen and audacious by the day. If this wasn’t enough, the denizens of the southern coastal regions hear rumor of the free men who, once vanquished, have emerged, more organized than before, all with the goal of toppling the Empire. Amidst the stirrings of war, the elves watch a fateful star and recognize it as a portent that will decide the fate of all those who live in Azuregard. It is within these tumultumous times that the troubled Templar Marcus Stern encounters Ruffles, an angel stricken with amnesia. Together with the Elven Pathfinder, Sylrianah, reserved but curious to see the world beyond the forest, and Zarum the Lost, a battlemage with his own internal conflicts, they form an unlikely bond.
