Outsmart evil forces in this minimalist turn-based combat strategy game with no RNG and clearly telegraphed enemy attacks where you control a growing group of survivors who explore a city infested by monsters. Telegraphed enemy attacks Evil Tactics is played turn by turn, team by team. During player turn, you'll see exactly what enemies will do in their next turn, and will play all your characters in row. As your primary objective is to protect defenseless NPCs from monsters, you'll have to build the smartest combination of action to outmanoeuvre monsters. Minimalist gameplay Playable characters each have a unique set of exactly two abilities of different types (Melee, Range, Artillery). As it features many unlockable characters, potential combinations and strategies will grow exponentially. There is no level grinding of any kind. If you fail at a certain level, you'll just have to get better. With maps limited to an 8x8 grid, there is no dead space: every place, every element on the map has a reason to be and can be leveraged in your gameplay. Forget skipping through endless dialogs, you'll jump straight to the point : exciting, strategic turn-based combat. If you're looking for an expansive lore with deep story-driven universe, this may not be the right game for you. No Randomness-driven gameplay Luck has no place in this game. Attacks have no randomness of any kind. If the attack has a value of 2, it will always remove 2 health points from the target. Hand crafted Level design All levels are designed manually to ensure difficulty balance and avoid unfair situations where winning or loosing feels like a factor of where enemies and elements were placed.
