Magnetic Bonds is a fusion of the visual novel and turn-based RPG genres inspired by battle shonen manga! Players can explore a vast galaxy, befriending characters and building relationships as they progress through the story and take down enemies and bosses. Story One night, Isaac, the only person remaining on his planet, is startled by the arrival of a girl with mysterious powers named Jean. Together, they encounter a vigilante known as the "Scarecrow" and embark on a journey that pits them against the Galactic Black Market. Features An epic story line inspired by shonen manga, split into six episodes! A turn-based battle system that combines quick-thinking and resource management! Cook delicious meals and serve tea to bond with your party! A 20 hour campaign with two endings and branching paths in the final episode! Accessibility options such as a battle auto-clear! Over 2,000 lines of voiced dialogue! Gameplay Magnetic Bonds contains gameplay similar to other visual novels. However, the game also contains an active turn-based battle system which players use to fight enemies and bosses over the course of their adventure. When players aren't tackling the main storyline, they'll find themselves in hub areas where they have the ability to interact with their party members through minigames such as Cooking and Teatime. Interacting with party members in this manner raises friendship and strengthens them in battle. While the story is mostly linear, the player's friendship with their allies will determine the path players can take in the final chapter and endings/character outcomes available.
