Volatica: The Devil's Trap is a story-driven Roguelike Deckbuilder with hand-drawn illustrations and unexpected plot twists that follow your choices. A witch is traveling the fantasy world, bound by her contract with the Devil and looking for a way to lift the curse. Hunted by the Inquisition and blackmailed by the Devil, she is balancing between light and darkness, trying to enlist the support of powerful allies and break the never-ending cycle of rebirth. Is a deal with the Devil always a bad idea? Combat potions The magical journey is full of dangers! As the game progresses, you will collect recipes for unique potions and gather ingredients to make your spells even more destructive. Each recipe has its own unique effect. A spellbook, a magic cauldron and a talking cat will help you understand how to brew potions and defeat your enemies. Non-linear story and random events The impact of the decisions you've made will always be felt throughout the game. Fight a peasant, negotiate with a mysterious creature or bribe a priest – the choice is yours! The fate of the world's inhabitants lies in your hands, but beware - the outcome may not always be what you expect. Grim world Explore a fantasy world inspired by the myths and legends of the late Middle Ages.
