JOIN OUR DISCORD About the Game Class-based MMORPG with group mechanics Oathbound is an MMORPG developed in Unreal Engine 5 that combines the traditional, rock-paper-scissors approach of established MMORPG classes (e.g. World of Warcraft) with turn-based tactical combat (e.g. Baldur’s Gate) and a scalable world design (e.g. Wartales). As a free stand-alone version Oathbound: Arena lets you experience the game`s major features with an emphasis on PvE/PvP combat and skill systems – allowing players to try out different group layouts and practice before they eventually join the battle for Arcaya. Features MMORPG Classes: Choose from accessible classes with unique skills. Party Management: Experiment with different builds for different play styles. Online Multiplayer: Excel in PvP/PvE combat and team up with friends in group battles. Multiple Arenas: Adapt your strategy to different environments and fight for loot. Turn-based Tactical Combat Oathbound's combat system is designed to encourage players to explore different builds and counter certain play strategies. Classes and counter-classes, skills and counter-skills follow the rock-paper-scissors approach to gain an in-game advantage by mastering the game's mechanics. Interactive World Map Explore the game world in 3D representation and discover clickable elements, such as houses or old ruins. Natural borders limit the accessible map section in an immersive manner. Points of Interest grant access to smaller, dedicated 3D maps upon click. Explorable Biomes Explore dedicated areas of the game world in 3rd person view. Collect resources, interact with other players or trade in confined point of interest maps of varying sizes.
