She could understand the Lughs — and they seemed to understand her. Manu began a journey across the world, searching for a way to reunite with her father. Years later, in the City of Miranda, one of the city’s ancient portals roared back to life — and many strangers emerged. They claimed to come from a place called “Earth” — searching for a girl named Manu. These newcomers founded the Lugh Research Center in Miranda to study this new world, its unique creatures (the Lughs), and to find Manu. Apparently, only youths from Earth can communicate properly with Lughs, making cooperation possible. Today, Manu protects ordinary folk from enraged Lughs that appear from time to time. And you, young explorer — became a powerful ally of the Lugh Research Center in the search for Manu—and in uncovering the mysteries of Lugh World! Lugh World consists of continents and islands with varied biomes and terrain. Each region of the world has a central city — a hub of social and economic connection. Every region presents its own socio-cultural dynamics and unique history. The past seems eager to reveal itself, as mysterious structures, ruins, statues, and monuments can be found throughout the world — creations that seem built by no one. Every corner holds part of Lugh World’s secrets. Within Lugh World, there are forces, powers, and organizations seeking to control the Lughs and their great power to fulfill their own ambitions. The three main known threats are: The Blight: Its origin is as ancient as the mystery of the Light of Creation itself. When a Lugh—or any creature—is consumed by the Shadow of Ruin, it becomes tainted by the Blight. In extreme cases, those infected transform into monstrous, violent versions of themselves. The Heralds of Ruin: Considered a cult-like group seeking to channel the Shadow of Ruin to destroy the world. Rumors suggest that elite members of the Heralds can control Blighted Lughs just as Lughers control normal Lughs. The Masked Wanderer: Many tales tell of a man wearing a white mask and black cloak. He appears near ruins or areas where unstable crystals erupt with raw energy. He avoids direct contact, observing from afar, but leaves enigmatic marks—symbols carved in stone, runes that seem to contain fragments of Earth’s writing.
