"Vorum" is a retro-inspired RPG with elements of noir, horror, investigation and science fiction. Its narrative is inspired by recent events in humanity with touches of philosophy. In the year 2025, civilization collapsed following the emergence of a disease, the Influence, brought by a type of being beyond our understanding, the Foldurs, who mysteriously appeared in the world. We follow two separate stories, 96 years after this event, in the last nation standing. The story of an elderly detective disillusioned with the world he lives in, and that of a gunslinger trying to move forward with a heavy guilt on his shoulders after a life of murder. Both men are confronted with a country filled with crime and moral crisis. The mysterious appearance of a Foldur in the country, bringing with it a series of murders, shakes that land and changes the lives of these men. The detective finds himself in an investigation to try to locate the Foldur, and the gunslinger in a escape from a dangerous zone. Both will be forced to confront their demons and moral dilemmas to deal with the challenges and revelations that will arise in this new stage of their lives.
