In this work-in-progress build, you'll step into the unknown, test your tactics skills, and get a glimpse of what Deep Fringe has to offer. Set in a grim post-apocalyptic world, you'll lead a squad with unique abilities in turn-based combat, where strategic mastery of the environment is key to survival. Navigate and transform spaces; modify, destroy, or replace grid elements to exploit terrain height and effects, gaining tactical advantages by strategically positioning your squad. Face terrifying foes: Toxic tumors, spores, larva swarms, and bio-technologically modified enemies. Challenge these threats or take on dangerous mercenaries in tactical combat. Experiment with unique squad compositions and devastating firepower in this demo. Get a glimpse of unit customization by upgrading your arsenal and equipping powerful item enhancements to maximize your squad’s abilities before battle. Battle with ultra-large units that control multiple grids, capable of unleashing devastating attacks and altering the flow of battle Employ the built-in graphical editor to easily create your own levels and battles! Make strategic choices that introduce you to the world’s conflicts and shape your path as you form alliances or rivalries.
