The stench of blood permeates the air. The tribe chants your name. Today, the humans pay. A Kingdom To Conquer is a 2D tactical action RPG set in a challenging procedurally generated world. Begin your adventure as a weak monster, clawing your way up the food chain. Scrape by to survive, fighting the few creatures weaker than you, taking quests that pay a pittance or gambling your luck in the pit. Hire companions and explore the magical - and often deadly - mysteries this world has to offer. From surviving to thriving, the once weak goblin will eventually evolve to a massive troll. Amass an army, march it to your enemy's doorstep, raising down cities and conquering kingdoms. A WORLD FULL OF ADVENTURES Factions that react to your actions You will meet different factions, some will be friends, some will be foes. But relations can change, yesterday's allies are tomorrow's enemies. A trading system which encourages you to make allies in the most unlikely of places If you want to pursue the life of a trader, you'll want to make friends in all corners of the realm. For a human a ruby is a most precious gem, to an orc however it's just a stupid rock you can't eat. Procedurally generated world full of hand crafted elements Each playthrough will feel slightly different yet you will encounter familiar faces across replays. Meet a wealth of different people, from legends to downright weirdos You can talk to just about everyone you meet, some people might have secrets to tell you while others will just waste your time. Conversations will flow differently based on your relationship with the character and their faction - so tread carefully! A FIGHTING SYSTEM MIXING STRATEGY AND ACTION Lead legions of monsters Recruit and manage your army. Watch them grow battle after battle, and soon you will be leading an army of hundreds against your enemies. A wealth of spells and skills to discover When numbers fail, magic is a sure fire way to make an impact. Discover a myriad of spells and skills, from necromancy to bomb making, there are plenty of ways to achieve your ambitions. FROM RAGS TO RICHES Start as one of the weakest creatures in existence, fight and scheme your way to the top Even the greatest warriors were once weak and puny creatures. Just like them you will need to start from the bottom. Survive, fight and scheme in order to grow your strength. Eventually enemies who once seemed impossible to beat will fall at your feet. Define your character's background At the beginning of the game you will get to decide from different races, factions and background. Each of these will influence your playthrough and give you more or less of a head start. An evolution tree for every creature, a bat today, a vampire tomorrow! All creatures you encounter have their own evolution tree, just because a creature is weak today doesn't mean they always will be.
