Roots of Fury is a game where the tiniest warriors face epic battles! Take on an extraordinary journey where strategy, adventure, and innovation collide in a world hidden beneath our feet. The Game Roots of Fury is an action role playing game. You are a brilliant but eccentric scientist that made a breakthrough in the field of plant genetics. When bureaucracy starts taking to long, you decide to take matters into your own hands and use your own back yard to test your newest creation. The test is a great success. Maybe even too great of a success! Because the plants weren't the only thing that evolved. Yes, we're talking about those pesky insects. The only reasonable thing to do is to shrink yourself down to their size and bring the fight to them! Key Features Collect bug body parts via combat Build weapons from bug body parts Unite with the ants and build out your own ant hive base Biology inspired enemies and mutation Origami inspired art style Character You can play as a botanist, chemist, physicist or medical doctor. Each character has strength, dexterity, vitality, intelligence, and wisdom. Depending on which class you choose your stats are different, and the character has a special ability. For example, the medical doctor has an advantage on healing. Ants Ants are the characters companions. They have their own action set and are not controlled by the character. They can attack enemies or help the character carry things back to the Hive. Collect experience points and materials to upgrade and evolve your army of ants, creating a powerful force capable of tackling even the most daunting of challenges. While exploring dungeons you will experience different biomes, such as a fire land, grassland, barren land, water land, chemical waste land and so on. Enemies As you delve deeper into the game, the enemies evolve from ordinary insects to bizarre and formidable creatures. The further you progress, the stranger and more challenging the enemies become, requiring skill and strategy to overcome. Play together It’s always better to share your fun with a friend. That’s why Roots of Fury features an offline, couch co-op mode. Hive Grow your ant colony by expanding the hive. The hive is your base of operations. Everything you need from ant companions, to levelling up your abilities and crafting your gear happens here. You start with a basic ant hive with one queen and a few worker ants. Develop essential rooms such as the Lab, Farm, Armoury, Queen's Chamber, and Botanical Gardens. Each room plays a crucial role in your colony's growth, weapons and ant upgrades, and new abilities to aid in your defence. Craft Equip yourself with an arsenal of weapons, meticulously crafted or looted from formidable foes. Each weapon offers unique attributes, enhancing your strategic approach to combat. When you defeat an enemy, they might drop a body part. With that body part you can craft a new equipment.
