Shattered Mythos is an action-packed RTS/RPG hybrid with roguelike elements. Set in a world inspired by mythology ravaged by an ancient cataclysmic war, you'll assemble a team of four heroes to safeguard your homeland. Journey through the mysterious gates to distant locations, where the secrets of the world await discovery amidst its shattered remnants. Engage in dynamic gameplay featuring isometric real-time combat with pause, allowing you the freedom to choose your heroes' abilities and equipment. Enhance them with powerful runes you find along the way either through rewards or discovery! If your party falls, they retire to mentor the next generation, passing down their skills and soul infusions. Seek the lich at the world's center, and defeat them! Bring peace to the land! The fate of the world lies within your hands! As you progress further into the world you can start to influence its growth, by saving towns, reclaiming areas from the chaos creatures that have taken up residence, and gathering armies to push back the Lich, the Myrmidons, the Dragon Empire, and Cult of the Sun. While each run will generate new encounters, the core of the world will evolve with the choices you make. And when this next generation arrives, it shall be trained by the last as mentors. They will pass on their abilities, class traits and soul infusions to their pupils, allowing for complex multi classing. And as you discover more of the world you will unlock more heroic classes, adding to the possibilities! Real time strategy roguelike combat. Real time with pause gameplay with deep strategic choices. 12 unique character classes, each with different strengths and weaknesses, unlocked through discovery. Customize your abilities each run with runes, modifying stats and adding new effects to create OP combos. Load out your heroes with a variety of weapons, armor and consumables. Upgrade them at the runesmith with new traits, or find legendary items after boss battles. Roguelike gameplay with an inheritance system: your old heroes can teach the new generation abilities and traits! A living world that evolves between runs. Save the town from the Lich’s army? Next generation it may be a full fledged city with better gear! Physics based attacks. Arrows that are dodged continue and can be dodged, knockback can slam enemies into pits. Terrain destruction: see the environment left in ruin after a hard fought battle.
